Gillian violently pulled the door to the small La Push mini-mart open and stepped in the refreshing air-conditioned room. Despite the rain and heavy clouds, the air was humid and stiflying. Grumbling to herself, she muttered something about drinking her weight in sweet tea and needed a smoke. Nodding once to the clerk behind the desk, she bee-lined straight to the drinks section, eyes on the prize.
